Live resonance, vowel, sibilant and pitch feedback for voice training. Goal:
Hold a vowel or speak a sentence. The score compares the shape of your mouth and throat (measured as formants) with typical adult values for the same vowel.
How to read this
Which part of your mouth and throat to adjust for the vowel you just held.
Solid: the shape your formants suggest. Dashed: the typical shape for that vowel at your goal. Differences are drawn twice as large so they are easy to see. The app reads jaw opening from F1, tongue front/back from F2, lips from F3, and throat length (larynx height) from how all three shift together. Many shapes can make the same sound, so treat it as a guide, not an X-ray.
The voice reading aloud is your browser's speech voice. Browsers don't let apps measure it, so it doesn't show on this chart. Your own voice does when the microphone is on.
Show words uses your browser's speech recognition, which you agreed to. In Chrome and Edge the audio is sent to Google or Microsoft to be recognised; the rest of the app stays on your device.
Pick a passage and read it aloud at your normal pace. The highlight follows your voice. Press Finish at the end to get your result; it is saved to the history for that passage.

How drills work
Pick a sound, start the microphone, then hold the sound steadily (or say the word a few times). The drill collects about a second of clean audio, scores it against typical values for that exact sound, and tells you which part of the sound to adjust.
Finished exercises appear here with their last and best scores and a small trend line.
